University Marketing works in close consultation with the Monash community and external organisations to provide strategies and advice on all marketing matters University-wide. We work towards achieving a focused look and feel across the University's communications materials in order to strengthen Monash's reputation and identity.

Assistance for Monash staff

As a central liaison point, we can help Monash staff with:

Marketing and communications plans and strategies

  • Market analysis and preparing marketing plans
  • Developing communications strategies and key messages
  • Identifying appropriate sponsorship programs
  • Creating and updating websites and advice on using the Monash web templates
  • Advice on marketing and public relations tools/resources

Brand Guidelines

  • Using the Monash logo correctly
  • Determining the appropriateness of creating new logos, taglines and using acronyms
  • Advice on preparing communications materials e.g. advertising, invitations, brochures, publications, signage etc

University-wide campaigns and activities

  • Sharing the latest University-wide marketing campaigns, initiatives and key learnings (such as Off-campus Learning, Change of Preference, Postgraduate Information Expo, Orientation Week and Open Day campaigns as well as the University-wide marketing initiatives)
