Successes to date

  • We are a year old! On 29 January, 2009 Raiser's Edge went live - on schedule - with no detrimental impact on business.
  • We are continually working to make improvements to the data quality stored in RE so that it is more accessible and meaningful to users.
  • Thorough pre work meant there were no major surprises with data and the conversion to the new database system went smoothly (often this is not the case with projects of this size).
  • Currently, we have nearly 80 users across nine faculties and administrative areas.
  • New users are trained within two weeks of logging a request.
  • We have a service desk team that can be contacted by email or phone.
  • We run a regular data cleansing process which means the information you get should be more helpful to you.
  • We now have the ability to create more complex reports for users and the wider University community.
  • We are producing about 50 internal reports per month. That is 600 reports since we went live.
  • The Monash implementation has been Blackbaud's biggest higher education implementation in Australia.
  • We have secured funding to work on Raiser's Edge integration with key university systems (e.g. SAP and Callista) indentified in last year's review.
