ACL Direct Link

The ACL for Windows product, which we already have a licence for, is able to perform extensive audit analysis. However the department has found ACL inconvenient to fully utilise because of the need to independently extract the data from the system under investigation, eg SAP, before being able to run the ACL analysis software. This usually involves writing ABAP query programs which are not user friendly.

ACL have a product called Direct link which can extract data directly from SAP.

By utilising this software the Department now has a battery of Continuous Monitoring Routines to regularly run tests on the integrity of SAP processing. It also greatly facilitates the task of extracting data in connection with general audit projects.
