• a concise summary of the major threats and opportunities affecting the organisation; and
• a structured process to ensure the effective allocation of resources.

The Risk and Compliance Unit provides support to management by:

• facilitation of risk management programs across the University and its controlled entities;
• integration of risk management into the University's operational planning process; and
• consolidation of faculty/PVC-led campus risk profiles into a University risk profile.
