Quality Audit at Monash University

Monash was audited by the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA)  in 2006.  AUQA also collaborated with the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC) in an audit of Monash South Africa.

The audit was based on a self-review undertaken by the University and assessed how well we are progressing towards meeting our objectives.

Monash Portfolio

The starting point for the audit was the Monash Portfolio. The Portfolio consists of three volumes and a number of supplementary materials. The Portfolio was submitted to AUQA and HEQC in May 2006.

Volume 1- Whole of Monash

Volume 2 - Monash University Malaysia

Volume 3 - Monash South Africa

The Monash Portfolio Supplementary Materials may be downloaded here. (Monash access only)

Audit Panel Visit

The audit panel examined the Portfolio and associated materials and conducted visits to six locations across three continents, interviewing more than 700 staff, students and external stakeholders of the University.
