About the Family & Child Care Service

Family and Child Care at Your Campus

Monash University is committed to providing policies and services which enable staff and students to combine successfully employment and educational pursuits with family responsibilities.

Family and Child Care Service, based at Clayton Campus, is a centralised service available to students and staff of Monash University across all campuses.

We provide students and staff with information and advice on:

• Linking into on-campus child care centres
• Accessing information on child care options on campus and elsewhere
• Parenting, work, study and family issues by referring to the Monash University Counselling Service and/or other relevant services
• Enrolling into the Clayton campus School Holiday Program (5-12yrs)
• Koonawarra Playgroup offers students and staff of Monash University the opportunity to develop networks within the local community, as well as providing an opportunity for social interaction, English conversation support and cultural exchange.

• Carer Resources
• On campus parenting rooms and baby change facilities
• Salary packaging for child care
• Parenting programs and education seminars
  Child Care Benefit and Rebates (Clayton Campus students)
