Health Service at Berwick CampusWhilst there is no health service offered to students and staff on the Berwick Campus, the Berwick Family Medical Clinic, a privately run health clinic is near by. The clinic is available to help students and staff with a wide range of health issues, including routine medical consultations, travel medicine and immunisations, mole checks, contraception and pregnancy testing, sexual health and STD's and testing for HIV, hepatitis B and C.
Consultation FeesAll Australian students holding a current Medicare card will be Bulk Billed. Your medicare card must be sighted by the doctor. State that you are a Monash student when you make the appointment and when you arrive for your appointment, show your student ID card Before your consultation. Patients not registered with medicare including overseas students will incur a consultation fee. If you have private health insurance, you must present your reciept to the relevant medical fund for reimbursement. Payment on the day of consultation is required. International StudentsCasey Super Clinic in Berwick is the nearest OSHC Worldcare Medical Clinic (details below). Tell the clinic you are a MonashUniversity International student insured with OSHC Worldcare when you make your appointment and take and show your OSHC Worldcare membership card when you arrive at the surgery. The cost of your consultation will then be billed directly to OSHC Worldcare and you will not have to make any payment.
