Elections of Staff Members during 2008

Election to Council of one Academic Staff (other than the professors) Member.

At the close of nominations at 12.00 noon on Monday, 29 September 2008, for the election to Council of one academic staff (other than the professors) member, three valid nominations were received. A postal ballot was conducted on Monday, 20 October 2008.

Following the counting of primary votes, Dr Carol Williams received an absolute majority. Accordingly, Dr Williams is re-elected as the academic staff (other than the professors) member of Council and will hold office from 1 January 2009 until 31 December 2010.
