Sub–Delegation of powers by the DVC (Education)

      PROVIDED that the delegate may not act under this delegation unless -

(a) the agreement to be signed -

      (i) has been recommended for signature by the Office of the University Solicitor; or

      (ii) is in a form previously certified by the Office of the University Solicitor as an acceptable and

(b) I am consulted where in the opinion of the sub-delegatee the matter is of an unusual nature or of such significance that I should be involved in dealing with it.

- to the person occupying or acting in the position of University Librarian, Monash University Library at the relevant time the power to sign on behalf of the University any agreement relating to the activities or operations of the University Library up to a maximum expenditure of $200,000.

- to the person occupying or acting in the position of Director, Central Services Division, Monash University Library, at the relevant time the power to sign on behalf of the University any agreement relating to the use or acquisition of computer software and/or related products for the University Library on any campus of the University up to a maximum expenditure of $75,000

- to the person occupying or acting in the position of Director, Information Resources Division, Monash University Library, at the relevant time the power to sign on behalf of the University any agreement relating to the use or acquisition of electronic resources for the University Library on any campus of the University up to a maximum expenditure of $75,000.

Sub–Delegation of powers by the DVC (International)

      PROVIDED that the delegate may not act under this delegation unless -

(a) the documentation to be signed

    (i) is in a form previously certified by the Office of the University Solicitor as an acceptable "pro forma"; or

   (ii) has been recommended for signature by the Office of the University Solicitor; and

(b) the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International), or person occupying or acting in that position, or any successor position, is consulted and agrees to the documentation being signed; Provided That such consultation and agreement is not necessary where the documentation comes within the category referred to in paragraph (a)(i) above and the delegate has the financial authority under the University’s financial delegations policy to enter into the transaction.

- to the person occupying or acting in the positions, at the relevant time, of Director, Monash University Academy of Performing Arts or Events Co-ordinator, Monash University Academy of Performing Arts, or any successor position, at the relevant time, the power to sign on behalf of the University any contract, agreement or any other associated document, relating to the hire or other use of the Robert Blackwood Hall, the Alexander Theatre or the George Jenkins Theatre.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts

      PROVIDED that the delegate may not act under this delegation unless -

(a) the agreement to be signed -
