Agreements

These fall within one of three categories:

1. (Monash) standard contractor agreements.
2. Agreements developed by an external party such as CSIRO, a Government department, an industry partner, another university.
3. An Agreement drafted by the University Solicitor's office on instructions from the relevant administrative unit.

Contracting Party

Please note that the internal administrative units of the University such as faculties, departments and centres, do not have independent legal existence. Thus, the contracting party is always Monash University. Where appropriate, the name of the unit may be included as in:

"Monash University a body politic and corporate established under the Monash University Act 1958 (Vic), of Wellington Road Clayton, Victoria 3800, through its Faculty of …."
