Student Discipiline and Academic Grievance proceduresStudents who commit discipline offences may be charged with general misconduct and/or academic misconduct in accordance with the provisions of Statute 4.1 - Discipline. Guidelines have been developed to assist faculty staff with the writing of charge letters and other aspects of the discipline process. See Discipline (Student) Guidelines, Monash University Secretariat Policy Bank. Student Academic Grievance PolicySee Monash University Secretariat Policy Bank. It is important that any charge of general or academic misconduct made against a student be framed correctly. Faculty staff would be advised to discuss the terms of a proposed charge with a solicitor before proceeding. For further advice on discipline procedures, contact Glenda Beecher ex 54296 |
