The Media & Communications unit is responsible for all media and communications
matters for the
University and acts as an interface between the University and the news media.
The M&C Unit issues
all University media releases while also coordinating internal communications
within Monash. We promote
the achievements and developments of Monash, in particular, research and teaching
outcomes and
major new developments along with managing critical media issues. We can help
staff identify the
most appropriate audience, when stories should be released and the best angle
for potential stories and
assist with negative stories or issues management.
The Unit also coordinates
media training.
