Monash staff who sign up as a new member with HBA on the Monash staff offer, will receive:
- between 4% and 6% discount (depending on products purchased)
- new members receive 2 weeks free
- no gap dental for kids

- the corporate health plan offer also removes the standard 2 months waiting periods on all extra’s cover* – so you can be covered from day one for most extras services. .* All pre-exisiting and 12-month waiting periods still apply.

How to sign up or for more information
Simply phone HBA on the below number and mention you are a Monash University employee. You will be required to provide your employee number, pay your first month of premiums up-front, your free period of cover will then be applied. HBA will the make arrangements with Monash payroll for your payroll deductions to commence on the appropriate date.
NOTE: Staff who already have HBA payroll deductions will automatically have the premium discount amended and will receive a letter from HBA confirming this.

Staff who already have HBA payroll deductions will automatically have the premium discount amended and will receive a letter from HBA confirming this.
I already have HBA health insurance, how do I get the discount?
Simply phone HBA on the above phone number and advise the consultant you work for Monash University and would like to move on to the new Monash staff offer. The discount will then be applied to your premium, however you are required to make payments via payroll deductions.
Do all products receive a discount?
Under the Monash staff offer health scheme, no further discounts apply to Active Saver sports , Ultimate & Family essentials products. These products can still be purchased and still pay via payroll deduction and receive the free cover period. If bundled with extra's, the 2 months waiting period on extra's cover is waived.
