Applicants applying for the Harold Carroll Memorial Scholarship must provide:
A statement (no more than one page) advising how they are able to demonstrate determination and diligence in their studies, even though they may not necessarily have been amongst the highest achieving students. This statement should be supported by documentation such as relevant school reports and letters of reference from your school or schools, and/or a prominent community representative/s, and
Supporting documentation to indicate that you were a former pupil at one of the designated schools or a school in the Western District of Victoria. A letter, certificate or report from the nominated school verifying your attendance is sufficient*.
Applicants will be considered favourably where they can demonstrate involvement in community or social activities, or provide other support that indicates a capacity for hard work and a willingness to learn.
