Stuart Simson Scholarship

The Stuart Simson Scholarship was established in 1975 from a bequest by the late Stuart Ormsby Simson who directed that the income be used to assist in paying the fees of eligible first year male students residing in one of the University Halls of Residence.  The scholarships are awarded for proficiency in the VCE or equivalent examination. The award may be held for one year only.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
  • a male student completing Year 12 or IB in Victoria in 2008, and
  • a intending to enrol in a full-time undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia, and
  • residing in the Monash University Halls of Residence at Clayton campus or Mannix College.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students with a minimum ENTER score or equivalent of 98.00.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
