Accounting and Finance Industry Based Learning Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a continuing student enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Commerce degree at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• satisfactorily completed specified units as part of the Bachelor of Commerce degree:
  • 48 credit points including AFC1030 to be eligible for the second-year placement, 96 credit points including AFC2120 for the third-year placement.

Selection criteria

Awarded to students based on academic achievement, application, and performance at an interview.

Value and number available

$8000 per placement. Each placement is one semester in length. Students can do up to two placements over their second and third years. The number available is variable and dependant on the availability of placements and funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and satisfactory academic performance as determined by the faculty.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred
