Indigenous Access Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

an Indigenous Australian, and
a commencing undergraduate student, and
enrolled or intending to enrol in a full-time Commonwealth-Supported Place undergraduate degree* at a Monash campus in Australia, and
able to demonstrate financial hardship.

* Students enrolled in the Diploma of Tertiary Studies (course 2552) are eligible as long as they meet all other criteria for the scholarship.

In addition to the above, students applying for the Indigenous Access Scholarship must be a commencing undergraduate student and meet all the requirements for the Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship and/or Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship.

Awarded on the basis of need to eligible applicants.

$4,166 one-off payment.

These scholarships cannot be deferred.

Applications open 10:00am (AEST) Friday 1 August 2008 and close 5:00pm (AEST) Friday 31 October 2008.
