Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be:
-
an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
-
studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2008, or
-
completed Year 12 or IB in a previous year and applying for a new course through VTAC in 2008, or
-
a New Zealand citizen completing the NCEA level 3 examination in 2008, or
-
a continuing Monash University undergraduate student, and
-
enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia, and

Selection criteria
Awarded to the highest achieving eligible Year 12 students based on their ENTER score or equivalent, or in the case of continuing students, their academic performance in their current course of study at Monash University. Eligible students must have achieved an ENTER score or equivalent of at least 95.00. Continuing students are selected based on academic achievement in their current course of study with a minimum grade average of 80 per cent.
A combination of ENTER score or equivalent and need will be taken into consideration when awarding scholarships.
Scholarships will be awarded to Year 12 students first with any remaining scholarships to be offered to current Monash students.
Value
$6,000 per 48 credit points of study, for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.

Recipients must maintain a minimum of a credit grade average (60 per cent).
Deferability
This scholarship can be deferred.
