Monash University Scholarships for Excellence

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
  • studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2008, and
  • intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree and in a Commonwealth-Supported Place at a Monash campus in Australia.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students that have achieved an ENTER score or equivalent of 99.95.

Value

Commonwealth-Supported Place contributions paid plus $6,000 per 48 credit points of study, for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.

Number available in 2009

All eligible students that apply and obtain an ENTER score or equivalent of 99.95 will be made an offer.

Retention

Recipients must maintain a minimum of a distinction grade average (70 per cent).

Deferability

This scholarship can be deferred in exceptional circumstances only.

Applications open 10:00am (AEST) Friday 1 August 2008 and close 5:00pm (AEST) Friday 31 October 2008.
