Citigroup Women in Investment Banking Scholarship

Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking has established the Women in Investment Banking Scholarship to support and promote academic excellence in business studies by female candidates in their final year of studies.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a female student enrolled in a degree in the Faculty of Business and Economics, and
• enrolled in your final year of undergraduate studies in 2009 (either your final year of the degree or in an honours year), and
• able to demonstrate financial hardship.

Selection criteria

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of information provided and on academic performance at Monash. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate leadership qualities and community participation. Further preference may also be given to applicants in business-orientated studies (eg. finance, accounting and economics). Short listed applicants will be asked to attend an interview with Citigroup.

Value

$8,000 per annum for one year only.
