Engineering Excellence Awards

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
  • an international student, and
  • studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2008, and
  • intending to enrol in any undergraduate Engineering single degree or double degrees combining one of the of the Engineering degrees offered by the Faculty of Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible Year 12 students based on their ENTER score or equivalent. Students must have achieved an ENTER score or equivalent of at least 98.00.

Value

$6,000 per 48 credit points of study, for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.

Number available in 2009

Up to 50.

Retention

Recipients must maintain a minimum grade average of 75 per cent.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
