Faculty of Information Technology International Merit Scholarships
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be:

an international student studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2009, or
-
a direct international course applicant, and
-
intending to enrol in an on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree in the Faculty of Information Technology at a Monash campus in Australia.
Selection criteria
Awarded to eligible students based on academic achievement.
Value
$3,000 per 48 credit points paid towards course fees for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.
Number available in 2010
Variable, depending on funding.
Retention
Recipients must maintain a minimum of a distinction weighted average mark (70 per cent), with no failed units, to be eligible to receive payment in the following semester.
Deferability
This scholarship can be deferred.
Applications
International students applying directly to Monash for entry to a course of study will be automatically assessed.
Students studying Year 12 or IB in Australia in 2009 must apply for scholarships via the VTAC scholarship application portal. Applications open 3 August 2009 and close 30 October 2009.
