Women in Information Technology Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2011, and
• a female intending to enrol in either the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Software Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.

Selection criteria

Awarded to high achieving eligible female Year 12 or IB students, who are accepted into the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Software Engineering. Students must have achieved an ATAR score or equivalent between 90.00 and 97.00.

Value and number available

$3000 one-off payment. Up to five bursaries are available.

Applications

All applicants to the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Software Engineering degrees will be automatically assessed.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
