Women in Engineering Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student, and
• a female student studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2011, and
• intending to enrol in any undergraduate single degree or double degree program combining one of the engineering degrees offered by the Faculty of Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible female Year 12 students based on their ATAR score or equivalent. The faculty reserves the right to distribute the scholarships across a range of engineering programs to ensure that women with a diverse range of engineering study interests are included among the recipients.

Value and number available

$5000 one-off payment. Up to 50 scholarships are available

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
