East Gippsland Education Trust Scholarship
To be eligible, you must be:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa, and
- a commencing student intending to enrol full time in Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery* at a Monash campus in Australia, and
- a resident of the Wellington or East Gippsland shire for at least five years prior to tertiary study.
Awarded to students based on a combination of their academic achievement and their commitment to health in the Wellington and East Gippsland Shire. Applicants must demonstrate their intention to return to the Sale or Bairnsdale campus to complete a full academic year in Year 4/C of the course. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed.
Value and number available
$1000 one-off payment. The number available is variable depending on funding.
Deferability
This scholarship can be deferred.
