Monash Gippsland – South Gippsland Shire/ Bass Coast Shire Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a commencing on campus undergraduate student intending to enrol in an undergraduate course at the Gippsland Campus* at Monash University, and
• a resident of and have attended a school within South Gippsland Shire or Bass Coast Shire, and 
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity and personal disadvantage groups.

* does not include students in the graduate entry Medical degree.

Selection criteria

Bursaries will be awarded to students based on need.  Further consideration will be given to students based on ENTER score or equivalent.

Value

$3,000 per annum for one year only.

Retention

To retain this scholarship, student must be enrolled full time and maintain a pass grade average.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
