Monash Global Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student, and
• a continuing Monash University student enrolled at any stage of an undergraduate degree, except in the first year or last semester, and
• approved to participate in a Monash Abroad exchange program for one or two semesters in 2009.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students who:

• have a grade average of at least 80 per cent
• can demonstrate the relevance of their overseas exchange placement to their studies
• can demonstrate how they would make a good ambassador for the University.

Preference will be given to students undertaking exchange at institutions with which Monash University is strategically associated with such as Kings College London in the United Kingdom or Lulea University in Sweden as well as Monash University’s international campuses in Malaysia and South Africa.
