Gordon Preston Pure Mathematics Honours ScholarshipThe Gordon Preston Pure Mathematics Honours Scholarship is the School of Mathematical Science's prestigious award at the undergraduate level. It is awarded to high achieving undergraduate students who wish to continue their passion in pure mathematics through research programs offered in their honours year. EligibilityTo be eligible, you must be:
Selection criteriaAwarded to the highest achieving eligible students based on academic merit. Students must have obtained a weighted average mark of 90 per cent or above in 24 credit points of relevant mathematics units at level three, and be admitted to an honours program supervised by a staff member within the School of Mathematical Sciences. Value and number available$5000 per 48 credit points of study up to a maximum of one year only. One scholarship is available. RetentionRecipients must maintain full-time enrolment. ApplicationsAll eligible students will be automatically assessed. DeferabilityThis scholarship cannot be deferred.
