Faculty of Business and Economics Indigenous Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Indigenous Australian, and
• a commencing student enrolling in an undergraduate or graduate/postgraduate (coursework) degree in the Faculty of Business and Economics at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible applicants based on a combination of academic achievement and need. Where possible, one scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student and one to a graduate/postgraduate student.

Value and number available

Commonwealth supported place contributions paid or full-fee course fees paid for the duration of the degree, up to a maximum of five years. Two scholarships are available depending on funding and eligible applicants.

Retention

Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance as determined by the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
