Monash Gippsland Latrobe City Indigenous Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Indigenous Australian, and
• a commencing student intending to enrol in an on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at the Gippsland campus of Monash University, and
• a resident of Latrobe City, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students on the basis of need. Further consideration will be given to students based on ATAR score or equivalent. For postgraduate students, consideration will be given to their undergraduate academic achievement.

Value and number available

$2000 per annum for one year only. One bursary is available

Retention

Recipients must maintain an on-campus enrolment and a minimum of a pass weighted average mark (50 per cent).

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
