Law Mobility Equity Bursaries

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree in the Faculty of Law at Monash University, and
• participating in a student mobility program* in the Faculty of Law in 2009, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

* This includes the Prato and Malaysia programs and student internships.

Selection criteria

Awarded on the basis of need to eligible applicants. Preference will be given to students experiencing financial hardship.

Value

$500 - $2,000 one-off payment, depending on need, nature and location of the program and available funds.

Number available in 2009

Variable, depending on funding.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.

2009 Applications

Students must submit an online Monash scholarships application between August and October 2008 for this bursary for study abroad in either semester one or two of 2009.
