Mabel Kent Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• An Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa or
• an international student, and
• a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• able to demonstrate financial disadvantage (demonstrated by eligibility for Austudy/Abstudy/Youth Allowance).

Selection criteria

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of a combination of academic achievement and financial need.  The scholarship will be awarded to the highest achieving students based on grade average and demonstration of financial disadvantage.

Value

$6,000 per annum for one year only.

This scholarship can not be deferred.
