Melbourne Eastern Palliative Care Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student, and
• a continuing student enrolled in an undergraduate degree* in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia.

* Includes students enrolled in the graduate entry Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery offered at Gippsland campus.

Selection criteria

Awarded based on academic achievement. Applicants will also be assessed on an essay (4000 characters or less, including spaces) on palliative care submitted as part of their application.

Value and number available

$5500 one-off payment. One scholarship is available.

Retention

Recipients must maintain enrolment in a Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences degree, and will be required to submit a report for the donor by 31 July in the year of the award.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
