Monash Eastern Palliative Care Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an International student, and
• a continuing student enrolled in an undergraduate degree* in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia.

* graduate entry MBBS students are not eligible

Selection criteria

Awarded based on academic achievement. Applicants will also be assessed on their essay on palliative care provided in their application. The essay topic is: 'An essay in relation to palliative care'.

$5500 one-off payment.

Retention

Recipients must maintain enrolment in a Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences degree, and will be required to submit a report for the donor by 31 July in the year of the award.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
