Monash NSK Bearings Foundation Scholarship
NSK Bearings Australia scholarships were introduced to enable Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Arts Honours students to familiarise themselves with the field of engineering in Japan. The scholarship is to be used towards either study abroad, research or an internship.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
- a current Monash undergraduate student undertaking Japanese units, and
- enrolled full time in the Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma of Japanese, or the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and
- approved to participate in a study abroad, exchange or research program in Japan, or
- an appropriate internship opportunity in Japan.
Selection criteria
Awarded to eligible students based on a combination of their academic achievement and demonstration of interest in all aspects of engineering or science and technology in Japan.
Value and number available
$5000 one-off payment. Up to two scholarships are available.
Deferability
This scholarship cannot be deferred.
