Victorian Ambulance Paramedic Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a continuing undergraduate student at Monash University, and
• satisfactorily completed first-year studies in, and currently enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Emergency Health (Paramedic) at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• able to demonstrate financial hardship.

Selection criteria

Awarded based on need. The selection panel may include consideration of academic results in determining the final ranking order, and may also interview applicants where further information is required.

Value

$7,500 per annum, for the remainder of the degree up to a maximum of two years.

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a pass grade average (50 per cent).

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
