Pinskier Memorial Holocaust and Genocide Studies Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
  • an international student, and
  • enrolled in the Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies in the Faculty of Arts at a Monash campus in Australia, and
  • enrolled in the unit Placement for Holocaust and Genocide Studies’ (HYM5420) in 2009*.

* Whilst prior enrolment in the unit is not an eligibility requirement, the scholarship recipient must enrol in the unit if they have not already done so in order to receive the scholarship.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students with a minimum of a distinction grade average (70 per cent). The merit of the placement proposal will also be considered. Financial hardship may also be taken into consideration. Students will be required to submit a statement of support demonstrating the willingness of an organisation to support their application

This scholarship cannot be deferred.

Applications

Applications will be taken between April and May each year. All students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies will be emailed when applications open.
