Monash Practical Placement Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a commencing or continuing undergraduate student at a Monash University campus in Australia and required to undertake an unpaid practical or work placement for a minimum of 10 days as part of your degree, and
• from one or more of Monash University's defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded on the basis of need to eligible applicants.

Value

$1,000 one-off payment.

Number available in 2009

Variable, depending on funding.

Offers

Offers will be made throughout 2009 following verification from faculties regarding applicants’ enrolment in a practical or work placement.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.

Applications open 10:00am (AEST) Friday 1 August 2008 and close 5:00pm (AEST) Friday 31 October 2008.
