Monash Residential Services Postgraduate Merit Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a current full-time postgraduate (coursework) student enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• a resident with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia in 2008 for at least six months, and
• a resident with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia in 2009.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the ten highest achieving postgraduate (coursework) students based on the grade average achieved in the previous academic year.

Value

$1000 payable in ten $100 monthly rental rebates for one year only.

Retention

Recipients must be a resident in Monash Residential Services and maintain full-time enrolment. Students must not be in breach of any current Monash Residential Services – Conditions of Residency.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
