Monash Residential Services Undergraduate Merit Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a current undergraduate full-time student enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• a resident with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia in 2008 for at least six months, and
• a resident with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia in 2009.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students (one from each Monash faculty) based on the grade average achieved in the previous academic year.

Value

$1,000 payable in ten $100 monthly rebates for one year only.

Retention

Recipients must be a current resident in Monash Residential Services, maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a pass grade average (50 per cent). Students must not be in breach of any current Monash Residential Services – Conditions of Residency.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
