Monash Residential Services Undergraduate Equity Bursaries

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
a current undergraduate full-time student enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia, and
a current resident and a resident in 2009 with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia, and
from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection

Awarded on the basis of need to eligible applicants.

Value

$1000 payable in ten $100 monthly rebates for one year only.

Retention

Recipients must remain a resident in Monash Residential Services, maintain a full-time enrolment and a minimum of a pass grade average (50 per cent). Students must not be in breach of any current Monash Residential Services – Conditions of Residency.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
