Monash Residential Services Undergraduate Equity Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• a previous resident with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia in 2011 for at least six months, and
• a current resident with Monash Residential Services at any Monash campus in Australia, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students on the basis of need.

Value and number available

$1000 payable as ten $100 monthly rebates paid to the student’s Monash Residential Services account for one year only. Ten scholarships are available.

Retention

Recipients must be a resident in Monash Residential Services and maintain full-time enrolment. Students must not be in breach of any current Monash Residential Services – Conditions of Residency. Refer to http://mrs.monash.edu/on-campus-accommodation/regulations-and-policies/index.html.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
