Schools Access Monash Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New  Zealand citizen, or holder of a Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• completing VCE in one of the following Victorian secondary schools in 2008:
  • Cranbourne Secondary College
  • Dromana Secondary College
  • Hawthorn Secondary College
  • Kurnai College
  • Lowanna College
  • Monterey Secondary College
  • Pakenham Secondary College
  • Sandringham College
  • Traralgon College
  • Western Port Secondary College

Selection criteria

Awarded the highest achieving eligible applicant who has applied for a course at Monash University commencing in 2009.

$3,000 one-off payment

Number available in 2009

Ten. One to the highest achieving eligible student from each of the schools listed above.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.

Applications open 10am (AEST) Friday 1 August and close 5:00pm (AEST) Friday 31 October 2008.
