Honours in Science Cross-Campus Travel Bursary

The Honours in Science Cross-campus Travel Bursary aims to foster teaching and research ties within the Honours Program between the School of Science at Sunway and partner schools in the Faculty of Science (Clayton and Gippsland).

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student, and
• a continuing undergraduate student, and
• enrolled or intending to enrol full time in an honours program in the Faculty of Science at the Monash University Clayton, Gippsland or Sunway campus, and
• undertaking an approved honours program involving travel to the partner campus/school for the purpose of supervision and/or honours coursework with joint supervision between staff at the Sunway and either the Clayton or Gippsland campus.

Selection criteria

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of academic achievement.

Value and number available

Up to $5000 one off payment. The number available is variable depending on funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment.

Applications

Applicants should submit a one page application to the honours coordinator of the discipline they are applying for by Friday 9 December, indicating the:

• nature of the cross campus study program
• component that they intend to study on the overseas campus
• names of the two proposed co supervisors
• indicative budget they will need for travel and related expenses.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
