Monash University Support Bursaries

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a commencing or continuing undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) student, and
• enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded on the basis of need to eligible applicants.

Value

$2,162 (2008 value) per 48 credit points of study, for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.

Retention

Recipients must maintain a minimum of a pass grade average (50 per cent).

Deferability

This bursary can be deferred.
