Thomas Family Health Scholars Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or a permanent humanitarian visa, or
• an international student and the holder of a temporary protection visa or bridging visa (E), and
• a commencing or continuing full time student enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science*, and
• from one or more of Monash University's defined equity or personal disadvantage groups:

*This includes the graduate entry Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery offered at Gippsland campus.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students based on need. Applicants will be asked to submit a short essay outlining how the bursary will benefit them and support their studies. Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate financial disadvantage.

Variable, depending on funding and the number of eligible applicants

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred
