Monash Travel Abroad Equity Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a continuing undergraduate student enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• approved to participate in a Monash Abroad exchange program, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible applicants on the basis of need.

Value and number available

$2500 one-off payment. The number available is variable depending on funding. In 2011, 30 bursaries were available.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
