Walter and Eliza Hall Trust Opportunity Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

an Australian citizen, and
satisfactorily completed first-year studies in, and currently enrolled full-time in an approved Monash degree majoring in the areas of either Social Work or Nursing, and
in a Commonwealth-Supported Place (CSP) at a Monash campus in Australia, and
able to demonstrate financial hardship.

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students based on a combination of grade average and need.

$6,000 per annum for one year only.

Two. One for a student enrolled in a Social Work degree and one for a student enrolled in a Nursing degree.

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a credit grade average (60 per cent).

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
