Victimisation
It is unlawful to subject a person to any detriment as a result of bringing a complaint under Equal Opportunity Legislation, giving evidence in a case or being associated with any person doing this.
A staff member refuses to respond to a student's request for information about their course after a discrimination matter was raised by that student under the University's Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Grievance Procedures. This is victimisation.
